Trying to learn Photoshop

These are my first few attempts at using Photoshop to draw/paint.
I thought it's about time I learn how to use it.

An elephant I never finished.

My second attempt a Rooster Head

And my third attempt a Walrus.

Jake's Shorts

Here's another thing I came across while putting together my demo, my student film from way back in 2001.
It took about 5 months to complete from story idea to clean-up animation.
We then had a month to scan, colour and add sound.

I remember when we had our class graduation and film screening, I was a nervous reck.
Plus there was an advisory due to the content in a few of our classes films, mine included.
So be warned if you have a weak heart, and can't stand to see dry robot humping.

Please be kind about the quality of the video I know its not the best.

Enjoy

Lost Title Cards

When I was putting together my demo reel I came across some old title cards from 2002.
I thought what the hey lets put them online, everything else is.
So here they are for your view pleasure.

Enjoy.

Demo Reel

Well I've gone and deleted all my old blog posts.
It's time I've dusted off this old forgotten blog and start putting some new stuff on it

I guess a good place to start is with my demo reel.
Oddly enough this is my first demo reel since I started working back in 2001.
What I used to get my first job working on Olliver's Adventures was my student film, which I'll post later.

So what you'll see are only snippets of scenes that I've worked on, from shows like Olliver's Adventures, Delilah & Julius, Johnny Test, Yin Yang Yo and Total Drama Action. Plus a few others, a music video, a clip from a pitch, and some personal stuff.

Incidentally the voice of the Platypus is that of Geoff Lloyd from Absolute Radio. I know he's not an Aussie but the voice works for me. I clipped if from his old night time show. Try listening to his show or the podcast The Geoff Show, its quite funny.

And now with out further rambling on by me, my work boiled down into something just over 3 minutes.

Enjoy.
